Mātauranga Session #18
Nau mai, haere mai! Come along to our next Mātauranga session: Indigenous Tech in Education – 19 March, 2025
We’re excited to host Aroha Te Kanawa (WIPCE 2025 Project Director / WIPCE International Council – Secretary/Treasurer), Shanon O’Connor (Board member of EdTech NZ) and our very own Elle Archer (Founder of ELG) as our kaikōrero for this session.
With the World Indigenous Peoples’ Conference on Education on Education (WIPCE) coming to Tāmaki Makaurau from 16–20 November, they’ll share insights on the importance of Indigenous education, how to get involved in the conference, and how technology is being used to protect, preserve, and develop Indigenous cultures.
WIPCE 2025 is the largest indigenous event of its kind and here in Aotearoa! It’s currently accepting abstract submissions from individuals and groups wanting to share their Indigenous knowledge and expertise at WIPCE 2025. If you’re considering submitting, we’ll share some tips to help your submission!
